"Framing our Democratic Values; we can do better than 'A Better Deal!'"

In a recent NYT Op-Ed, U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer introduced a new message for the Democratic Party; "A Better Deal." But "Better" than what? "Better" for whom?

At our October Meeting, we're going to put our heads together to fashion a message that advances a vision of America where all are entitled to equal justice and equal opportunity, a message that says the Democratic Party puts the public welfare above the interests of the 1%.

We'll also be getting an update on the North Korean crisis.
