Saving Democracy; What's at stake with HR1/S1?

Our speaker is Aaron Frank, J.D. Aaron leads Focus for Democracy, a funding network that focuses on evidence-based programs where each dollar can have the highest leverage to impact our democracy. In 2020, Focus for Democracy raised between $20-$30 million for programs that had an outsized impact on the election. They are currently raising funds to support passage of HR 1 /S1 - For the People Act.

Aaron runs a financial investment partnership and teaches Environmental Law at the University of SF. Aaron is the Founder and Board Member of the California Wildlife Ce nter and sits on the Boards of The Voter Participation Center, Wildlife Care of Silicon Valley and the Arava Institute.
