SMCDFA's speaker will be Helen Hutchison, President of the League of Women Voters of California. The title of her talk is:

 "Money in Politics: Loopholes, Tricks, and End Runs."

Her presentation will cover the state of campaign finance in the United States with special focus on California. It will include some history, a description of the current problem and potential reforms.
