Our speaker, Belinda Hernandez-Arriaga, is a psychology professor at USF, a licensed clinical social worker and expert in Latino mental health.

Belinda has led two humanitarian trips to the border, the most recent in Nov./Dec. with a moving van full of clothes and supplies for asylum seekers and their families.

They visited the humanitarian center in McAllen Texas, then on to Brownsville and the Casa Padre Detention Center.

We'll also begin our important annual process of discussing our club priorities and signing up for the SMCDFA Task Forces.

Bring a friend and don't be late: as always, we'll start with dessert!

When: Wednesday, January 9, at 7:00 pm
